RR Wines (which stands for Ribbon Ridge) is a label based on the historic Ridgecrest Vineyard – which is the oldest vineyard in Ribbon Ridge. Owner Harry Petersen-Nedry purchased and planted the site in 1980 and founded the Chehalem Winery. The RR label was launched in 2002 as an off-shoot from Chehalem label to showcase the best barrels from this unique site. When Harry sold Chehalem Winery to the Stollers in 2018, he retained this one site and now focuses solely on the production and sales of the RR wines.
The winemaker throughout the project has been his daughter, Wynne Petersen-Nedry. The wines are crafted to be serious, collectible, and built to last.
