Failla is a Napa-based producer founded by Ehren Jordan who in 2015, opened an Oregon branch of their brand.
Failla is partnering with the Zenith Vineyard which had previously partnered with Mark Vlossak and St. Innocent Winery. St. Innocent sold their interest in this facility and has moved to South Salem, while Failla has moved in and will make their Oregon wines at this facility along with serving as custom producer of the Zenith label.
Another in a long list of recent California transplants, Failla has also secured fruit from the famed Seven Springs Vineyard. This particular bottle has a rich, stately aroma with plenty of oak spice. The color is dark and the flavor is rich. This wine will appeal to lovers of new-world Pinot Noir.
