On a humble property deep in the Dundee Hills, Mo Ayoub built a home and planted a 4 acre vineyard in 2001. Starting in 2004 he began crafting his distinctive style of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Being of Lebanese descent, Mo is a proud family man and a proud producer of incredibly precise wines. His professional background in Engineering has certainly influenced his very exacting approach to wine production.
Today his production has expanded slightly beyond his tiny Estate Vineyard, but total production is still under 1000 cases annually. That makes this a highly sought-after and highly allocated project.
The Chardonnay is rich and perfumed while still maintaining a purity and light weight.
From the Winery:
This is why Oregon is made for world class Chardonnay. The nose has sentiments of lemon zest, pear, honeycomb and brioche. It’s palate is rich with beautiful acid and minerality creating a perfectly balanced wine that will age for as long as you are patient. Focused, energetic and cellar-worthy. Best from mid-2019 to 2027.
