On a humble property deep in the Dundee Hills, Mo Ayoub built a home and planted a 4 acre vineyard in 2001. Starting in 2004 he began crafting his distinctive style of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. As the years moved on, he began expanding and sourcing fruit from other vineyards he admired. Among them was the Winderlea Vineyard which gave the advantage of being about 30 years older than his Estate vines.
This wine is stunningly plush yet balanced and precise. Loaded with deep-Earth minerality and ripe berry and cherry fruits, it offers a level of drinking pleasure that will surely please a wide array of stylistic preferences. That is to say, there’s very little here NOT to like.
